Tigers at Theale
Day Nursery
New Location Coming Soon!
We will be moving to bigger and better premises, a perfect building that offers more space that will enhance the wonderful learning environment for our children.

Our new building is still in Theale village and only a few hundred yards from our existing site.

The standards and ethos which we operate by will continue in our new site but with the new modern building we believe the experience for children will be even better.
The Nursery will be over two storeys, have the same room configuration as Tigers have now, sleep areas & cosy areas in all rooms, dining area and kitchen in each room, home cooked food which is cooked and prepared on site. We will have wonderful garden with age zones for all children to able to have access at the same time and a high tec inside play area with lighting and surround sound where our children will have yoga, dance, gym, & space to free play. We will also have a drop off area for our parents.
Tigers at Theale Day Nursery is situated in the quiet village of Theale, which is a few minutes from junction 12 off the M4.
The nursery is within walking distance of the railway station and bus stops which provides easy links to Reading and London.
We have provided quality care for children in a homely environment for many years and pride ourselves on our family feel atmosphere and child centred approach to learning.

The nursery is divided into four rooms which cater for the individual needs of the children. There are two outdoor spaces which are used daily and equipped with age-appropriate resources to ensure both gardens provide learning opportunities for all children.
We also have our very own bubble room, complete with bubble tube, UV lighting and musical resources. Children of all ages have access to this sensory space. We offer extra activities such as French and Sports Skills for the older children. The cook provides well balanced meals including breakfast, lunch and tea with all allergies and dietary requirements catered for.
The children also have access to fresh fruit throughout the day. We use the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework to provide stimulating activities based around the children’s interests to support the children’s learning and development. Each child has a key worker who tracks the children’s development and uploads observations with pictures and videos, so parents are involved with their child’s learning using the Parentzone app.

The senior staff are well qualified which ensures the children are receiving high quality early years education and all staff
have regular training opportunities to enhance and build on their existing knowledge. Our experienced management team
have a hands-on approach and are involved in all aspects of the Nursery.
